Post subject:  Strange pops w/ canon 5d mark ii and long exposures

hi,
I've notice this issue with both my 2 canon 5d mark II and the CTS+CSRB:

if I set my exposure to 10 seconds or more (flash on 1st curtain) the flash pops every 7-8 seconds after the very first pop.

This doesn't occur with my fuji camera and the cybersync, neither with my 5ds and the elinchrom trigger.

Anyone knows why?!

Thank you.

nico

This is a by-product of the programming in the CST, which will fire once every 9s if the flash circuit is held closed. I am actually surprised that when used with the Fuji this does not happen.

Our engineering staff is aware of this, and are looking into making changes to eliminate this behavior.

Thank you for the answer.

Greetings.

PS: I've tried again with my fuji x100, and all is working fine... even in bulb mode (2 min. exposure)
