Hello. Sorry for asking a newbie question. I have two E640 and cybersyncs transmitter and receivers.

What setting do I need to set the E640 so that it is not triggered by flash from other sources? Whenever someone uses their flash, it triggers my Einstein and I would like to disable that so that both units are only triggered by my Cybersync. Thank you.

Regards,

Glenn

The slave eye setting is the setting you need to change, and there are two ways to change it.

You can change it on the back panel of the lights by pressing the Function button until the window with two arrows pointing down and to the left is highlighted in blue. The press the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select OFF.

Once this is done you must OPEN MEMORY> OPEN FROM STUDIO to get the settings into the CC. Otherwise the setting in the CC will override the setting on the flash unit, and the slave eye will turn back on.

The other option is to set the function in the CC itself.
-Use the left joystick left/right to select ALL channels (it is just to the left of CH1)
-Use the right joystick left/right to select the SETUP screen
-Use the right joystick up/down to highlight LIGHT SETTINGS then press in with the right joystick
-Use the right joystick up/down to highlight SLAVE CELL
-Use the LEFT joystick UP/DOWN to highlight OFF.
-Verify ALL still appears in the lower left corner above the left joystick
-Use the right joystick left/right to exit this screen

You should be able to verify on the lights' LCD screen the window with the two arrows is set to OFF.

I'm sorry if I was not being specific, I only have the Cyber Sync Trigger Transmitter. I have two of them for my two cameras.

On the E640, I have Cyber sync Transceivers. Part Number: CSXCV

These steps are applicable when using the CST. Disregard the other steps.
