I recently purchased a new AlienBees B800 and for what ever reason, it is not firing properly. If I hit the test button, it doesn't fire. For every 10 times I hit the test button, it might fire once. When I have the sync cord plugged into my camera, it might fire once every 20 times. I thought it was user error, but none of the LED's light up on the back either. Am I missing something, or do I need to send it back to have it repaired? The unit is 3 days old.

Give us a call tomorrow, and we will get it swapped for you. If you get no green LED, the caps are not getting charged, nothing you can do differently.
