I have 3 Einsteins in group 1 channel 1-3. I am trying to add a Canon 430EX II to the mix via the CSRB+ as channel 4 triggering all via the CST. I use a Canon 5D Mk III.
I have tried all combinations and have not been able to get this to work. If anyone has any ideas or needs more info please ask. Not sure if there are settings in the camera I have to adjust and also in the flash.

Thanks in advance.

So, the Einsteins are working, just not the 430EXII?

I assume you are using an adapter for the foot of the flash? Did it come from us?

Do you have any slave/remote settings enabled on the flash? If so, turn these settings off.

Also, make sure the arrow on the FREQUENCY dial matches the dial on the CST and the settings on the back of the light.

Does the speedlight fire if you press the test button on the CSRB+?

Does the LED on the CSRB+ blink red when you press the test button on the CST?

Hello, I also am having issues with my Cybersync. I have only been able to use it once and can no longer get it to to fire my 580EXs with my 7D. Any ideas?

Ok, I was finally able to get it to shoot once. I had set the flash on the flash itself to channel 4 but the CC put it on channel 12 I think it was. This was the first time I am using the lights. One of the lights (first time use) blew the fuse on it and also the modelling light blew out.

Does this mean you had CH4 selected on the back of the flash unit itself? And by flash unit, do you mean 580? If so, then this tells me the flash unit has the remote settings turned on. They need to be turned off.

On the receiver, you have a channel and frequency dial. Make sure the frequency matches that listed on the Einstein.

The channel can be any number on the dial that is not already used by another light. Make sure the channel is listed as SPEEDLIGHT on the Cyber Commander. Page 30 and 31 in the manual outline the specific steps for this.

Likely the model lamp blew, and took out the fuse in doing so. Customer Service should be able to assist in securing replacements.

I can certainly help. However, I would suggest starting a new thread, as your equipment is different enough from the original poster's to be a completely different path to solve.

Mixing information will lead to confusion from all sides.
