I want to do some work with the Einstein's that would be similar to front and rear curtain Sync with my speedlights (Light Trails, or pre flash and then flash) for specific applications.

Is there a way to do that and how?

Einsteins (as with any studio flash) have no inherent first curtain/second curtain setting. They fire when triggered. When they are triggered is usually decided by the camera, though some remotes allow for a manually set delay.

Most cameras will allow you to decide first or second curtain. Canon is the sole exception (to my knowlege), and requires a dedicated device in the hotshoe to allow second curtain sync.

Why not just trigger the 'Steins with the speedlight - second curtain, manual, low output?
