So I purchased a pair of White Lightning X1600s along with an Einstein 640 and absolutely love these lights. However, I'm having an issue with the X1600s creeping forward when I attach the 30x60 softboxes purchased from Paul C Buff. Has anyone had the same issue with this configuation and if so what would you suggest I do to stop the creep? I've tightened the mounting block as tight as I'm able to, but it hasn't helped. I was thinking of rigging some kind of counter weight to balance the system. I have these mounted on heavy duty light stands that I also purchased from Paul C. Buff.

I've taken out the rubber washer between the mounting block and the metal flange that's connected to the strobe and that seems to do the trick, only time will tell though. I have yet to call customer service (I've been busy during business hours) and I'm still curious to hear what their solution is. I will update if they have a better solution.

Note: There was no disassembly to the actual strobe, just the mounting block. :D
