Our customers have been asking for a larger stripbox so we are announcing our new 14" x 60" foldable stripbox, designed for full body side and rim lighting, as well as overhead hairlighting.

Production samples are being made at this time, so I can't give a definite date or price at this time. We anticipate delivery to begin by June 15. There will be an optional 30° fabric grid available for this product.

We are making this box with lighter weight Silver/Black fabric so it can be used in tight quarters on smaller stands, and for more secure attachment to AlienBees™, Einstein™, WLX™, WL Ultra™, Zap™ and Zeus lights.

The patented foldable design makes setup of the stripbox fast and simple. More information will be posted here and at http://www.PaulCBuff.com when we have more definite delivery dates, specs and prices.

We also have at least two other major new products in the design process, but it's too early to speculate about them :)

Thanks, Paul !! I've been shopping for one but have not settled on one yet.

- Is the speedring built-in/removeable? I have a couple of "other-brand" quickrings that I love, so I prefer something that is just rods-and-box.

- grid option, I hope ? :-)

The overall build is the same as our current foldable softboxes, except with a lighter fabric shell.

And yes, there will be a grid.

Nice! I specifically asked about this a while back and was told nothing was in the works, glad you changed your mind.

How will the pricing compare to the current 30" x 60"?

We are not yet ready to announce pricing, but it will be up on the site when we are ready.

I project the price will be around $145.

Glad I signed up for this forum site, I am getting ready to buy equipment from you guys and the other strip box I saw is too skinny. I will wait to buy this one separate from my Bees and stands. :)

Awesome! I've been wanting longer stripboxes for quite some time.

I'll pick up a couple of these this summer!

...along with the new OMNI Modifier System & grid.

Thanks!
