I purchased an AB400, received it about a month ago and probably have used it about 10 times with no issue. Turned it on today, with no attachments or trigger, just plugged in directly to the wall and the red dump light stayed on. I couldn't test fire, nothing.

The modelling lamp comes on but it is really, really dull and moving the power slider does nothing for the modeling lamp in terms of light emission. It's just the same brightness regardless of the setting on the power output.

Turning the power on, off, different outlets have given me no solution to this problem.

Is there something I'm missing? I did a search but most results seem to be mentioning cyber commander issues and power bars.

If there is nothing in the REMOTE jack of the light, then there is an internal issue with the light.
