Be sure the receiver is defined as a light, i.e. it says speedlite in blue in the lower right. Also, be sure it is defined on the correct channel, i.e. the receiver is on 5 and not 13.

If you do the Open Memory, open from Studio steps, it will show you what channels the CC identifies as being present. Be sure you do not have any indicators on channels you don't intend. Making sure all other recipes are removed from power will give you a better idea of how the CC ID's this receiver.

I would unplug the Einsteins from the wall and make sure the CSRB+ is blinking green. Then go to SETUP>OPEN MEMORY select STUDIO, then press the right joystick.

Here we are looking for white dashes along the bottom (by white I mean the same color as the text in the corners of the screen). Or there may be a gray dash, this would match the color of the lines in the graph and may be harder to see. Is there a dash of either color?

If not, go to SETUP>SPEC LIGHTS> select the ALL channel setting, then define them all as an Alien Bee> AB400> (model lamp power is irrelevant at this point, so enter whatever setting there).

You should have vertical bars on every channel, and white dashes on the bottom. Are there any channels with vertical bars and no white dash?

Ok, Go to SETUP> LIGHT SETTINGS> select CH7 with the left joystick. Use the right joystick up or down to select POWER. Use the left joystick UP/DOWN to switch from STANDBY to ON.

Then go to SETUP> SPEC LIGHTS> then specify as as a speedlight.

As it stands, the light is undefined, which can cause it to fire regardless of channel setting. Once defined as a speedlite, the receiver will then not fire because it is set to standby.
