Does anybody have any experience running a Vagabond Lithium Extreme with a 900 series Norman pack? Specifically the D12 or D24 pack? I have several of both and it'd be a dream to use them in places without electricity available. I would just buy a VLE and test it, but I don't want to ruin my pack. They are crazy expensive to fix.

There should not be a problem with using these. If the packs can tolerate a brown out, then they should work. If they can tolerate a sudden power loss, then they should survive a test (i.e. using a power strip power switch, or a breaker tripping).

You can contact Norman and ask how low of a voltage the packs can tolerate before the processor crashes.

One thing to note, the light may be able to tolerate the voltage drop, but an installed radio receiver may not.
