I have a half-dozen AB1600s that I use with PocketWizard Plus III radio transceivers. One - the same unit every time - fires the first few times, then stops firing from the Pocket Wizard. Green light still illuminates for charging, however sometimes the discharge button on the back of the unit won't even fire the unit, however placing it inline on slave without the PW plugged into the unit, allows it to fire EVERY time. It sounds like there is an internal issue within the light. This will require the flash to come in for service to establish what exactly is at fault. More information about repairs can be found here: http://www.paulcbuff.com/repair.php |
