Post subject: | Newbie Question about speedrings |
Hi everyone - just bought an Einstein recently and picked up a used PCB 30x60 foldable softbox. But the inner ring (Buff mount??) for the speedring is missing. Is that inner, smaller ring called a Buff mount and if so, where can i purchase a replacement? Thanks! |

Genreally speaking to speedrings, the mount may be called Balcar (the original manufacturer that used it), or Buff/Paul C Buff, AlienBees, WhiteLighting, or Einstein mount. So, Balcar or one of our trademarks are used to describe it. They all use the same mount, so it really is up to the manufacturer of a given ring to decide for themselves how to describe it. As to the specific part in question, we do not sell them, but if you call our Customer Service team on Monday, I bet they can rustle one up for you. |
