I've had my Einsteins for 5 years.
I have around 20,000 pops on each unit.
Last week I was using three of them for head shots,
In a nice hotel conference room plugged into their AC.
All Einsteins were turned down around 4 stops.
(The unit is only releasing part of its capacity).
Shooting speed was maybe one frame every few seconds.
Every so often one of the Einstein's would kick out an extra 2/3 stop of light.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
I will test again at home.

Have not heard of that before. Have you confirmed your camera was totally in manual including auto ISO set to off...? Check the exif metada data in the image to confirm settings.

How were you triggering the light? Have you tried this same setup elsewhere? If so were you able to duplicate it or have narrowed down the light in question?
