Any chance a firmware update to add 1/3 stop shutter speed options to the flashmeter to accommodate the many cameras including the 5d3 that have a max sync speed of 1/200th?

I don't know of any plans to do so, but it also not impossible.

However, shutter speed generally has little to no effect on flash exposure. Only if there is a significant amount of ambient will the shutter speed have an impact on exposure and meter readings.

Yes, this would be for outdoor use with VML and Einstein where I want the fastest possible shutter speed, often in conjunction with an ND filter, ISO 50, and f/2.8 shooting aperture.
