I notice the receiver does not have a power on/off switch.

With the strobe turned off, does it matter if the power cord is left plugged in for an extended time ?

Cheers, Don

Generally not. However, if there is a spike in the AC power supply, the unit may lock up. If this happens, unplugging the power cord and letting it sit for a few minutes usually resolves the issue. This lock up is usually characterized by a solid red/amber LED.
