When I press the test button on the CSR the bees do not fire, the light blinks green constantly and when I press the test button it turns red, but no fire. What could be the problem, do i need a new CSR?

First, be sure you are using the sync cord as well as the power cord connected to the light.

Now, with the light on and the reciever plugged in, unplug the sync cord from the reciever and plug it back in a couple of times. If it fires, it is likely the reciever. If not, do the same thing to the sync jack of the light. If it fires there, it is likely a cord, if not it could be in the sync jack of the light.

So that means a new receiver is needed?

There is a two year warranty on the CSR. If the sync jack is the culprit and the CSR is under two years old it's covered under warranty.
