We are nearing the end of our long pre-order list, and will be contacting remaining pre-order customers in the next week. All NEW orders placed will still be on BACKORDER while we process and ship all of our remaining pre-orders. Once all pre-orders have been processed/shipped we will start shipping the backordered Einstein™ units in date order as they were received.

Customers now ordering Einstein™ units (and customers with Einstein™ units already on backorder) will be sent Einstein™ units that incorporate the version 2 updates.

Any price rise anticipated for Einsteins in the UK?

Being on the technical side of things, I am not privvy to that information. The best bet would be to contact the UK supplier directly. I don't think we set absolute prices, so he will be better suited to answer that question.

I just found out the prices currently listed now in the UK and AU reflect the price increase already, so no increase is expected to arise from the cost of the light itself. Still, I cannot speak of what the influence of various governments can have on the price (taxes, duties, etc).

Does this mean I was supposed to get the $50 accessory credit? I had an Einstein on order since June 2010 and just got it in January 2011?

If you are on the pre-order list and prefer to wait for V2 we will be happy to maintain your position on the list and ship V2 as soon as they are available. Should you choose to do this, we will reward your patience and inconvenience with an $50 accessory credit at the time of shipment of V2. This offer only applies to domestic pre-orders because non-pre-orders will receive V2 automatically.

No, I think the $50 accessory credit was for backorders that got to the front of the queue and opted to wait for a V2 unit rather than take a V1 unit and swap it for a V2 later. If V2 was shipping before your order got to the front of the queue then you don't get the credit.

Thanks, but I'll give them a call tomorrow. I did get a call to see if I wanted the v.1 with a swap and said no I would wait for v.2. Didn't realize it would be 7 months...

The most accurate answer will come from Customer Service, as they have the records for this matter.
