White Lightnings - the spring lever and four clamps used to mount a softbox to the lamp is getting dry and/or dirty. When I mount a softbox I have to push the lever partially back by hand or the clamps won't grip 100%. Can I spray some WD40 or graphite on it to loosen it up without ruining the lamp or myself? Thanks, Russ |

We do not recommend spraying lube into the light. It can get on parts it shouldn't and cause more damage. Ideally, it should be sent in for repair. |
