My Einstein went nuts today. I was using it, with the CyberSync™ Trigger Transmitter on my camera and the Einstein had the receiver. My friend also had a trigger. We were working on Channel 10, on location. We also had a VBM. All of a sudden, the light started flashing on and off and the LCD seemed to be flickering. I turned it on and off, turned the VBM on and off, no help. Finally, we reset it and flipped to channel 11 and it was ok.

Any ideas?

It sounds like a low CST battery. While I have not heard of the screen flickering, the rapid random firing is consistent with very low CST batteries. Even if both of the ones you were using were fine, an extra in a camera bag can do the same thing.

Funny you said that... I changed the CST battery too. Maybe thats what fixed it.
