Just curious, I can't find a use for the 2 straps with the plastic buckles on the vagabond bag.

I use them to attach it to the lightstand to keep it off the ground and keep the stand more stable instead of having to sand bag them.

In addition to buckling the VB to my light stand when shooting, I'll also sometimes buckle the folded stand to the VB to carry them short distances, especially if I don't have my stand bag with me. I originally thought the buckles would be useful for strapping the VB to my rolling light case but I haven't found a good way to do that yet.

It's a chihuahua holder. It keeps them from running around on a location shoot whenever a model insists on bringing one, duh! :P

It's also useful when slipping the VB as an impromptu leg weight, ya know... when you gotta throw someone over the boat for being a rat - "ta sleep with tha fishies, see?"

I am due to get a Vega Bond and the use for it is, to STRAP it to a LIGHT STAND to keep your Light Set Up from tipping over....Hope that helps. :)

Interesting. I didnt think the straps+buckles were strong enough to carry the weight of the battery+inverter.

I'll give it a try.

So you just strap it on to the lowest vertical section of your light stands?

EDIT: Tried it out. Works good. I now see most of the weight is supported by the lightstand. The straps just sort of balance the battery
