Firing my Einstein (via PocketWizard II) with my Sekonic L-358 (equipped with a PocketWizard remote module) meter is random at best. Sometimes it works...sometimes not, and almost never if there's more than ten feet of distance between the two. Will the Einstein Ver.2.0 have a fix for this particular problem, or is the problem on the Sekonic side of the fence. Thanks much for any help you can give.

Initial shipments of Einstein have a well documented range issue when using Pocket Wizard products. The fact that the module is part of a light meter and not so much a dedicated remote would make me question the relative power of the signal transmission. If that is the case, then the already shortened range would be expected to fall even shorter. The good news is Version 2 of Einstein has addressed the issue with Pocket Wizard via a new power supply. This means any Pocket Wizard device will regain its original range. Any current owner of a Version 1 Einstein will qualify for a free upgrade to Version 2.
