I hope the best for you.

We have are involving a technical problem in our photographic camera D200 Nikon.

Any time we leave the battery in the battery compartment and turn the camera off, after seven hours batteries get empty!

I check it with more than one battery, but the problem is still alive.

Have you experienced the same problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

We need your valuable experience to remedy the problem please.

Thank you very much and sincerely yours

farid

Hey Farid,
Thanks for visting our forums! This forum is intended to solve issues stemming from use with Paul C. Buff lights and accessories. While some users may be familiar with the camera, some perhaps with the issue, I believe assistance would be very limited, and beyond the scope of our fourm. Broader resources will likely be found at other sites like dpreview, fred miranda, flickr, and nikonians.org. If there is anything we can do to assist with using this camera with Paul C. Buff lighting equipment, pelase don't hesitate to ask!

Another site with very helpful members in the forums is DPC

In the short term, you might try removing the battery, removing the lens. Clean the electrical contacts on the lens (carefully) with a pencil eraser. Clean the contacts on the battery, as well--probably not the problem, but it can't hurt to try it.

Then put the lens back on the camera, install a fully charged battery.

Sometimes a bad connection, or the electronics in the lens can "hang" the camera, so it might not actually be turning off when you think it is. That is about the only thing I can think of.
