A quick question... I like many others are awaiting the arrival of the Einsteins to make our lighting purchases. I also plan to buy a Ringflash... Would it be appropriate to assume the ABR800 would work in conjunction with the Einsteins I ultimately purchase? Can the Cyber Commander be used to control the ABR? Can the Vagabond II be used to power the Einsteins in addition to the ABR? Thanks russell |

All of our lights (and for that matter, most flashes) can be used with the Einsteins. The VII can power any light we currently produce as well as Einstein. The Cyber Commander can control any of our lights with the RJ11 telephone jack, which the ABR800 has. TS |

I have had mine for some time now, and use it with both Moon Unit kits regularly. Except for the time I slipped, and landed on my ABR unit, smashing the standard reflector into a four piece unit, it has never let me down. The new reflector was so cheap, I had to add to the order to keep shipping costs lower than the item cost! Keep an open mind about buying the small Moon Unit in the future. The ABR is a blast to use handheld with camera attached, and the small Moon Unit really opens up creative possibilities in that mode that the larger unit is just not suited for. Good luck! |

thanks. yes, I realized after the fact I should have bought the smaller moon unit too. I will just purchase it along with the Einsteins I buy. |
