I have three CSRB's and one of them is no longer working. I put in a fresh set of batteries and I get the blinking green light, but it will not test fire and it won't accept a signal from the transmitter. I've double checked the frequency and made sure the fresh batteries were installed correctly. My other two CSRB's are working fine and all of them have been 100% reliable in the past.

What should I do?

Thanks.

PCB has a great reputation for customer service, so sounds like it's time to get in touch with them.

to clarify, the light will not test fire from the reciever's test button, correct? When you press the transmitter's test button, the LED on the reciever does not blink red, correct? If you have not specifically tested that, do so. Also, with everything turned on, unplug the sync cord from the receiver and see if the flash fires.

That's correct -- the light will not test fire from the receiver's button. When I press the transmitter's test button, the LED on the receiver blinks red one time, but does not fire. The flash works fine when I unplug it from the CSRB. I swapped out another CRSB and it works perfectly. I even tried this CRSB on another flash and it doesn't work. In adddition, I just tried another fresh set of batteries and it still doesn't work.

Ok, the reciever is getting a signal from the CST (that is why it blinks red).

Did you use the same cord for both recievers? If the cord is bad, then the CSRB cannot send the signal to the light. The physical act of unplugging the cord from the reciever should fire the light as the cord gets shorted on its way out (this is normal). If this does not fire the light, the cord is suspect. Also, trying a different cord could help narrow this down.

The cord works fine for the other two CSRB's that I own. When I plug and unplug this CSRB, the flash does not fire. However, when I plug and unplug the other CSRB's using the same cord, the flash fires.

It is then definitely a faulty sync jack, which would need to be returned for warranty service. Please contact customer service for details.
