Newbie of course - any situation where you use the diffusion sock and the direct-light blocker at the same time?

Thanks,

Paul

I thought using it without the blocker might give a bit of a hot spot but really don't know if that's the case. Generally I leave the blocker off if using the sock...

Even with a diffuser, some light will travel straight, causing a hotspot. By using the light blocker, all light will be bounced light, then diffused.

So, the blocker is also a bouncer! I'll give it a try.

Thanks,

Paul
