Not sure if anyone watches NCIS but they are using an AB light for the opening scene.

I thought it was cool!!!

HAHA! We obviously didn't pay as much as Nikon does! Funny how they added the recycle whine to them, and triggered them with no cable (that i could see) or remote :)

But thanks for pointing that out.

Or the manual advance film body with no motor drive attached but you can still hear the motor drive and the film advances itself!
Or the standard sized lens with the pulling power of a 2000-4000mm lens.

I would like to one day just see the a viewfinder view that actually looks remotely close to an actual viewfinder! lol

Since I started back into the hobby of photography I find myself looking at every camera and light I see to try to identify them. It is starting to annoy my wife but I had to stop and rewind NCIS to see what they were using. As soon as I looked at the light I said "Check that out". The really funny thing is I asked my wife if she knew what lights they were and she said "Alien Bees". She is starting to come around to my expensive hobby. :D

Also if you look at the light in the front it shows a cable connected to the camera but it looks like the cable goes from the camera to some type of trigger and then to the flash.

Paul it would have been really cool to have an Einstein and a CC on TV. Got any plans in the works?

You sound like me and my wife. I am starting to date the NCIS syndicated shows by the model of Nikon they use. ( I am a nerd, I know).

As for appearances on TV, we don't plan these. (If we did, there would have been a gratuitous close up pan over the Bees logo). They either buy them as props, or maybe they use them for something off set, then drag them over.
