Has anyone found a workaround to connect an alien bee to a 28" lastolite hotshoe ezybox?

What is the outer diameter of the "speedring"ish thing that it uses? I am thinking a speedring insert would work.

We do not sell these seperately, however, you may contact customer service to see what can be worked out, it would need to be the inner speedring for a foldable softbox. Note: these are 5.5" in diameter, so i do not know how effective they will be. I did try with an ebay special softbox that is designed similar to the Easy box, and it worked OK. YMMV.
