I use the original CyberSyncs transmitters (CST) and AC powered receivers (CRB) to trigger a pair of Bees when I shot formals at weddings. Last wedding I had, I switched channel numbers on the transmitters so they would not fire my bees as I wanted them to warm up a little before being fired. I didn't seem to matter what channel number I had the CST's set on, they would always fire the Bees connected to the CRB's set on channel 5.

This was happening with both of the CST's I own.

Anyone else experience this problem?

What happens if you change frequency on the recievers, and match the Transmitter to the new frequency? Also, immediately after the change, the CST will still trigger for about 2 or 3 flashes before the frequency changes, so be sure you are allowing enough pops bfore making that determination.

It could be that I didn't pop off enough flashes. Didn't try changing the channel on the receivers as they were already out of reach on my extended light stands.

Will try again when I get a chance.

Did you disable the optical slaves on the units that you changed the channel on?
