CSRB+ Cyber Commander and Vagabond were all purchased last month I used the Cyber Commander to control my AB400's when plugged into the wall and following the instructions in the manual I was able to adjust the power level of the strobes. Everything works just as it says in the manual and I was a very happy camper. When I took them out to the site to do a shoot less than an hour later I wasn't able to control the power of the light from the Cyber Commander. Am I doing something wrong or is it that the power can't be adjusted remotely from the Cyber Commander while also using the Vagabond II?

The phone cord was connected and checked several times as well as power to CSRB+

Am I doing something wrong? I'm usually very good at following instructions and troubleshooting issues in electronics. I did it as a job for over a year on half million dollar printers for advertising, but I'm also human, so I could be making a simple mistake.

There is no reason you should not be able to use that set up. Normal trouble shooting steps would be to make sure the CSRB+ was on and blinking green. Also, if the RJ11 cord was left in when the light was switched off then back on, hit the "refresh" command (right joystick up). This rebroadcasts to the recievers what they are supposed to do. If you still have no luck, start testing the lights via the test buttons, beginning with the head, then reciever, then transmitter/Cyber Commander to see where the flash fails to fire. This will tell you where to focus further trouble shooting.

All of this assumes everything is plugged in and turned on. (I have been known to fail to plug in a light before :oops: ) this also assumes not frequency or channel changes were made between set ups.
