I can't seem to sync faster than the native max of 1/200th. I turned on the "Auto FP sync" which allows the camera to sync up to 1/4000th with the speedlight but still have the curtain appear when using the AB800. Am I missing something? By the way, I read somewhere on Flick that the cybersyncs only sync up to 1/320th but I tried at 1/300 and got the curtain at the bottom ot the frame at that speed as well.
Thanks

As far as I know & also test the setup.
The sync speed for Nikon D90 is 1/200th.
If we use Nikon speedlight with Nikon CLS style, then the flash will adjust to accomodate High Speed Flash sync, so we can sync up to 1/4000th.
Now, if we put CST on Nikon D90, and trigger off camera flash (such as sb-800/sb-600/sb-900) with CSRB+ then the flash is synchronized up to 1/200th, beyond that we will see the curtain even at 1/250th.
I guess the same may apply to AB-800 also.
