Received my "your number is up" e-mail today (July 9) for pre-order number 1233. Yay!

Since Colins order is known to be around 1,200........Does this mean that the "Downunder" orders will be shipped immediately the first of the upgraded units are available, that is, on or about August 20th ?

Also Paul, for all interested, is August 20th still looking like a likely ship date for the upgraded units ?

Those Eli units are still calling :) ..............

I had initially preordered 2 Einsteins and was order #1251, but I decided that I wanted an additional Einstein and it's order was #1762. Today I moved my 2 Einsteins to the latter order so that I would get them at the same time and I'd get the 15% accessory discount as opposed to the 10% discount. I would probalby have been called next week, but It's no problem. I'll probalby be up toward the end of August.

my 1150ish order number arrives MONDAY!! (Vagabond shipped a few days later, will arrive next Thursday) PLMs, maybe August (I hope)?

Everyday I go to this forum to check the current no. I'm just a hobbyist, but and I'm getting excited that it is nearing my no. 1500 something.

I'm a hobbyist also and I am more excited that they appear to have a clear understanding of the root cause of the hardware issues. The expense related to the redesign of boards, replacement or redesign of other components while not ideal from a manufacturer standpoint is wonderful and welcome news for us the customer/customers. While I can’t be pleased about a 3-4 month wait in reality given the technology I will be getting for the price it is still a small price to pay.

and to think Australia was pre-order number 12xx but because of the 240v issue :( very sad have to wait god knows how many more months...

We SHOULD be getting ours on or about (one week, plus or minus, after) August 20th.

Of more concern to us is the price, I've e-mailed Colin and received a reply from him that he was looking into the pricing issue and would get back to me Monday or Tuesday (Australian) time.

It's now 9.00pm Monday and I haven't heard from him, so hopefully tomorrow.

Meanwhile, DCW have a nice Elichrom (BRXi) two-light setup, with Skyports, carry bag and big Octa for $AU1,999 ...............

Very tempting :D !!!
