Paul has been working very hard everyday drawing vectors and defining exact shapes and arcs of PLM V2 to make it as precise, efficient and easy to use as possible, It's a huge chore to get those little $.50 and hour sewing girls in China to make things exactly as designed. Their bosses make $.75.

Fortunately I now have some engineering help via my "good" China molder/tool and die maker who is personally managing the PLMV2 project. This is not your ordinary umbrella and requires quality control far beyond what typical China umbrella vendors are capable of.

I have just received email from PCB CS regarding to when will PCB AU get the Einstein shipment turn. It turns out that we who ordered from PCB AU won't be able to get ours in 2-3 months time. As now PCB are still busy to fulfill orders from US. If I'm not mistakenly understood, when PCB fulfill all the US preorders, then PCB AU will get their turn.

I'm quite disappointed I won't be able to use/bring Einstein in my overseas trip... When I read that it was said 2 weeks after the US released, AU will get theirs; I think I'll give a month after the released we'll have the chance of getting Einstein.

Well.... I have to make other arrangements for my sessions then... Oh, how I wish I do not need to do this...

Paul, (Luap)......

Is this correct ?

I (and apparently other Australian users) expected to receive our Einsteins in straight order-number order.

This seemed to be confirmed with this post of yours ............

Is your Australian distributor correct in saying that AU pre-orders have now been pushed to the bottom of your list, and we will therefore receive them after all US pre-orders have been fullfilled, and so allowing for transit / shipping / customs / distribution delays, several weeks after they are in the hands of "non-pre-order" US users ?

AB.

AB,

I got the reply from PCB US Customer Service (Barbara). Not from PCB AU. PCB AU (Colin) just simply said they have not receive their shipment yet. As soon as they received them, they'll ship them out straight. And I suppose to be in the list of PCB AU first batch shipment.

I wrote that "if I'm not mistakenly understood..." It's unfortunate, but it's true. I do hope that I'm misunderstand though...

And since I'm ordering from AU, I do hope AU can get theirs faster. So I can get mine fast too.

And AB, between you and me, since we pre-ordered from PCB AU, if you are in the same list in the 1st batch as I am, The bright side for you are: you'll probably get yours first than me. As I'm having it shipped from AU to HK.

AU pre orders started later than US, so are higher number on the list. Also it did not make sense for us to ship very early production units to OZ lest any unexpected bug pop up.

No. 205 here. Called them on Monday and got them yesterday. I decided back in November to get a fourth unit. I will have to wait a bit for that one. I could not be more satisfied with the Einstein. I strongly suggest looking into getting the CyberCommander. The combination is an absolute DREAM to work with ..... I'M LOVIN IT !!!!!!!!

I'm a little disappointed in CS. I know they are busy, and I didn't expect them to jump right on it or anything, but a few days ago I sent an email asking if they could confirm that my name was on the pre-order list (I signed up a few months ago) and what number I was. It's been a few days and I still haven't heard back.

The reason I was asking is that I've got a job coming up in a few weeks and I wanted to see if they might ship before then. If not, then I'll have to make other arrangements. I really don't like being a pest (and I'm sure that I am), but the information would be useful so I can figure out what arrangements I need to make. Basically, I don't want to rent lights off of someone else if mine will be here before then.

Paul,

There's no issue that (most, all) of us in Australia are lower on the pre-order list then most (all) US users as we probably didn't pre-order the AB Max units.

However, the question remains, are we getting ours in order number (as stated in your previous message) or have we all been bumped off the pre-order list and will not get ours until ALL the US orders are fulfilled ?

Thanks,
AB.
