Beaser - call Customer Service and let them know what happened and they may help you out on the 10% for the additional items.

Very impressive.........Cust service called me at 9:30 eastern. No real surprise though. They understood exactly what my issues were before they called.

No sandbagging or bs , just good cust service.

Service has not been very good
I have been on a list that should be shipped out in a week (according to customer service)for about two months right after I chose to not take the version ones. Now they told me 3 weeks today I was like 1500 on the first preorder list last year still no lights. Really wish I would have taken the version ones. I also called and upped my order buy one light and now there is no record of that so I will now have to pay the higher price. So I guess the best customer service in the industry is getting overwhelmed?

Who has got there light what # are they on?

CS was up front about the possible delays and so was Paul. he has put his money where his mouth is and chosen to make things right regardless of cost.

If he shipped a flawed product he'd be right where most other manufacturers are and his margins would be much better. instead the line is being reworked and we're being given an accessory credit to sweeten the pot.

Patience (including mine0 has been frayed) but that's to be expected when a radically new product hits the market.

I just got the call... was Einstein V1 preorder #1300's, but decided to wait for V2 when my number was called back in July... My V2's are shipping today or tomorrow. Looks like they are ramping up!

So Paul, when will PCB AU get their Einstein V2? I wrote to PCB Inc. CS about it last week and haven't receive any response yet. :(

I've had my Elinchrom RX600's (delivered from Europe) for about a month now (sorry...couldn't help myself !!).

I am hoping that the Vagabond-Mini will be here sooner rather then later, I'm looking at getting two of them, one for each RX600.

Other option is an Explorer, but then you've got the trailing power-lead issues to deal with ......

I was just browsing the forum for a minute when I got a phone call informing me that they are shipping my E2 (3 plus lots of other gear) order today or tomorrow. Mine was an original E1 (low 1700's) pre-order that I requested to be converted to E2's. :)

I have another two back-orders to go, one for a couple of more E2's not on the original pre-order, and one for a silver 64" PLM. No news on those, but could be in the next 2-3 weeks.

Looks like I've got a lot of unpacking, testing and case-fitting to do late this week. I'm looking forward to it.
