It’s incredibly hopeful and exciting that orders are moving. I haven’t had this much anticipation for a new toy since I perused the sears catalog at Christmas 30 years ago.

Specific customer inquiry's wouldnt be answered here. All requests for such information sould be done via email or phone. In any event, it is difficult to answer specific customer questions without customer info in the profile.

By the way, that was not a jab at you, just a blanket statement. Only our mods can see the info on your profile, at least name address phone number and email. Sometimes somebody will post a question that can only be fully answered by knowing how old a particular device is. Being able to look someone up is helpful for me to answer them effectively.

Received shipping notice last night for v2.

im july 23. hmmm

Wow....so it seems like at this rate I wont get my lights until next year sometime? I ordered 2 E640s on September 10. I was told that they were due to start shipping the end of the week of sept 20th, and that I should receive them in 4-6 weeks. But from what I'm seeing in this thread, if they are still fulfilling pre-orders from JULY, I must be waaaaaaaaaaay down on the list. This is very discouraging

At this point I would love for a large charge to be applied to my CC. After a four month wait with nearly a thousand dollars worth of accessories in my closet I am thrilled to see orders being shipped.

I suspect though the pressure to fix the issues with the strobes, mounting back orders and general industry and economic pressures have been harder on PCB than the anticipation of receiving my order has been on me.

When I placed my pre-orders, I accepted that there was a lot of uncertainty involved.

Looking back, there were delays both to the original (as of when I ordered) ship date of May, and the V2 "we'll start building" date of late August... but really just a few weeks each. But initial production rates were low for a few weeks until some units had been field-tested (eg, Galbraith). It sounds as if PCB is now satisfied with the product and in the last week or two, production is finally reaching full speed --- for the first time.

Since PCB is buying ads in print magazines, it tells me he's putting his own money on the fact that he'll have lights to sell when those go into print, or soon after. I'm guessing three months.

It's seemed like forever, but I've gotten by. Last of my pre-orders are due to arrive today. I stressed over ordering them, but finally realized that waiting wasn't going to get me any further up the list. Wish I'd ordered a couple more at the intro price.
