Will there be some sort of exchange program for those of us who got the orginal CC? I got mine in July. I would really have liked to have been informed that a version 2 was in the works--I would have certainly waited for it with the better range and the lanyard loop. I never use mine on-camera at all, and spent about 40 bucks on add-ons to make a lanyard attachment that fits to the shoe mount.

It would be nice if I could upgrade for a minimal cost, return the existing one.

I would definitely pay something for an updated case if possible. I have been looking at lanyard options for a while and will spend something on it anyway....

Bought mine in mid September.

Why spend $40? Just drill a small hole in the foot, and then run a lanyard through the hole.

Any request for exchange will need to go through Customer Service.

Extended antenna= greater range. Up to 400'.

Sounds great, exactly what I needed. Had my first real shoot this weekend since I got my Einsteins and CC last month. It was the first time I've ever experience misfires with the Cybersync system (had CST and CSRB's previously). I had a lot of images where both strobes failed to fire and an equal amount of shots where one strobe would fire (the fail rate between the two strobes I had was about even, so it's not one particular strobe). Tried new batteries, same issue.

Will give CS a call sometime this week, TS would you happen to know if the new version of the CC has begun shipping?

Thanks.

Talked with customer service today and the finger fix is still 3 1/2 to 4 weeks off.

Just wondering how quickly these are shipping now. I'm waiting on 2 and looking forward to getting them. I also was considering ordering a 86inch white and 86inch silver plm and am wondering the lead time on those these days.
