I noticed the top of the Einstein is warm to the touch even when they are powered off ( and have been for weeks ). Should I be unplugging them when not in use? I have a kill-o-watt device, I'll probably check it out tonight and see what the draw is when off...

There has to be some power draw inorder for the unit to be turned on via the remote, just like a TV, VCR, etc. It will be warmer on the top back of the housing compared to the rest.

Ah, I didn't know that it had the ability to be turned on remotely, so that explains that!

I'll probably just unplug them after use though, it will be smart just in case of lightning :)
