I'm planning to get an Einstein for overseas assignments and was looking at the Einstein + Vagabond Lithium + Cybersync combination and have been impressed. A lot of my work takes me to Asia and Europe, both 240V areas, and despite several attempts to contact info@paulcbuff.com I'm at my wits end trying to figure out which units to order

The Einsteins appear to be pretty standard - support from 95V to 265VAC. I just need to be sure to get the correct cables ordered so I can run them off AC power when I'm traveling. Otherwise our standard US plugs work just fine.

The Vagabond Lithium is a little confusing - there's a US version and an International version. I'm guessing this unit can be recharged from any AC power source from 95 to 250 VAC. So charging shouldn't be an issue anywhere in the world. As for powering the Einstein, the Einsteins accept 95VAC to 265VAC, so I am right to assume that the Vagabond Lithium will power the strobes without issue as long as I have the correct cable?

The Cybersync Commander also looks pretty straightforward. Since I plan to use only the Einsteins, but would like full remote/wireless control over the Einstein from the Commander - would the Cybersync Transceiver suffice?

I'd love to place my order as soon as possible, for an upcoming trip

I'm sorry you have not gotten a response from the Customer Service team, however, we do have a policy to answer all emails within two business days from recieving them. Being closed during the weekends, anything from 5:00pm Friday to 9:00am monday (central) would be considered recieved on Monday morning, and should be answered by Tuesday night or possibly Wednesday morning. Usually, emails are answered sooner, but during busy seasons (such as now), it may take the full two days.

To answer the question, you will want the CSXCV, as it is the only remote to porvide full functionality for Einstein. Cyber Commander, CyberSync recievers, and Einstein will work anywhere in the world, though you may need to get an appropriate power cord for Einstein based on locality. Both Vagabond minis willc charge from anywhere in the world, but you will need a plug adapter (or replacement cord) for the charge cord, again based on locality.

There is no need to match the VML to the local power voltage in order to run Einstein. However, if you need to run another product that is specific to 120 or 240V, then you would need the specific VML. My advice would be to get the 120VAC version, unless you specifically need 240VAC power (which Einstein does not need, but can use). Should you go with the 240V VML, you will need the China/Austrailia style power cord for your light (which we sell online) for use in the VML, as well as a power cord with a Schuko connection (which is not on our site, but we may have them for sale. You will need to contact sales for that) for use in Europe's AC mains.

Thanks for the quick reply:

So am I correct to say that I will need:

http://www.paulcbuff.com/e640.php
http://www.paulcbuff.com/vm120.php
http://www.paulcbuff.com/cc.php
http://www.paulcbuff.com/csxcv.php

Now, for power cords, aside from the ones that come with the Einstein, I'll need power cords for the following AC plug types:

http://electricaloutlet.org/type-g
http://electricaloutlet.org/type-f

Which cables will I need?

Yes. That will work to power and trigger one E640.

We do not offer a G type cord, though you can request the F type (not on our website. p/n PC15-220V). However, since you will be traveling to different places, instead of having multiple cords, you can get plug adapters. These would likely be more compact, and possibly less expensive.
