Just got my 3rd Einstien yesterday. My first 2 were from when the version 2 first came out (finger fix). I first noticed when taking the much smaller shipping cover off, the spring tension are way stronger on my new light. Also the new finger has groves cut in them that my older 2 don't.

My question is can I get my older lights upgraded so I don't need the rubber bands when using my soft box? My only real complaint about these awesome lights. I don't have a permanent studio so my main light is the first light I grab.

Shouldnt be a problem, but you will need to contact Customer Service for specifics on how to acomplish this.
