I have been restricted on a few shoots to shoot on a softball and football field for portraits at mid afternoon and have some ideas.. unfortunately it seems the next couple of days will be very sunny almost direct 2:00 sun!

Is there a trick to get my Bees talking to each other in this bright sun?

I am using 2 B800's and a 400 for catch light on the right. The sun is working as my catch light on the left back. I need my strobes to talk but when I tried it today it seemed there was too much light for them to see each other and the only one that fired was the one with my cyber sync remote attached... ... Any tricks? Thanks any helps is awesome! ;)

You will probably need to buy remote triggers for your other lights as in the bright sun light unless the optical sensor is looking right at the other strobes will not work.

Buy more cybersyncs ;)
You found out why optical triggers (including your cameras p-TTL system) don't work that great in the sun :)

Yes, this is where a remote for each light really shines (pardon the pun). However, you can try placing the remote on the flash with the widest spread and place that light slightly behind (or otherwise in direct sight of the slave eye) the slaved strobe. If you are able to shade the slaved strobe or add a reflector to "catch" the master's light, even better (at least the slave eye).

Or you could slave one and hardwire the other to the camera or the other flash, or even split the reciever to go to both lights.
