I am so stoked right now.

Got my VML in today and was happy to see it was about fully charged out of the box. I hooked up my Profoto D1 Air 500 w/s put it in battery mode and started testing.
At full power would recycle in a bout 1.5 sec, 2 D1's at full power about 3 seconds. Since I never use my strobes at full power set up what I would at a wedding using an umbrella and D1. Because if I were to use two lights at a wedding I would have a separate VML for each light keeping cords out of the isle I used one mono and set it at 7.5 (375 w/s) giving me f 8 @ ISO 320. I was getting about 1 sec recycle times and fired off at least 50 shots and battery indicator was still at 75%, where it was when I started.

Needless to say I am thrilled and plan on getting 2 more VML. I was ready to buy a Profoto BatPak so I could use my D1's and my modifiers and this saves me a ton of money and weight.

Just thought I would share.

I'm very happy with my purchase of the http://www.vmlbracket.com/ a few weeks back.

Consider one or several of these to really lock things down nice and tight!
