Specifically 250 Watt visual output lights?

I understand that they may not work with the dimmer function, but that doesn't matter to me.

No, CFL's should not be used in any of our lights due to the ballast in the bulb. If the dimmer feature was used, you could damage the bulb. Even if the dimmer was not used, the ballast can generate line noise and yield undesirable behavior from the light unit.
