Right when I got my assortment of boxes :D I set everything up and my CC/Einstein setup worked as advertised. Just to make sure I was getting good light meter readings, I'd take a reading normally and then cover the dome with my hand on a second try (just to make sure I'd get the expected <f1).

Oddly enough, when I tried it the second time, whether I covered the dome with my hand the display read the same. Am intending to go back this week and try it some more, but I was wondering if it might be something as simple as the batteries (which are the included alkaline set) could be low and causing the light metering on the CC to act a bit wonky.

We will need to do some more trouble shooting. First, be sure you are pressing the right joystick, the left joystick will fire the light, but not meter. Also, be sure there is enough light to register more than f/1.0. If you were dumping power, then this may not be an obvious cause. If you have a different meter to compare, do so side by side. If you are able to call us when you are near the set up, it may be best to give us a call.
