Can someone tell if the metering capabilities of the Cyber Commander are comparable to the Sekonic Lumidisc?

Thanks!

Sort of, but it works differently. The lumidisc attempts to block the light coming from different directions, and focuses on the light coming straight on. If the sensor is aimed at a specific light, then only the light from that direction would be read.

Cyber Commander allows the selection of an individual light to be metered by a flick of a joystick. You would meter individual or groups of lights for ratio, then meter the cumulmination of lights for exposure.
