Post subject:  CC Feature Request: Editable Names

Hi guys,
Just got a CC + transceiver setup for my Einsteins and am playing around with it.

Any chance that someday the CC might get the ability to edit names? Specifically I'm talking about names that are given to lights, names that are given to saved setups on the SD card (or even the 2 internal save locations) and even assigning names to groups.

While generic names like "MAIN L" are useful, sometimes its more useful for me to name lights based on the modifier I have on them or where they are positioned. "PLM86", "RAFTERS", "OVERHD", are examples of names I'd use.

That would take a keyboard. Sorry, not possible at this point.

FYI, you can actually do a virtual keyboard (something like what XBMC or some of the other Home Theatre apps do)...it's basically a keyboard displayed on the screen w/ an enter key and backspace key. You use the joystick to move around and press keys. Pretty painful but it's not impossible...just painful compared to a touch screen keyboard or real keyboard.
