Can a larger micro sd card (for example 8gb) be used to update the firmware on an Einstein if it is partitioned to 2GB?

Most likely, if the card is partitioned and formatted properly (FAT16). However, we have not yet tested that, so I would not advise doing so at this time. I will locate a larger SD card and do some testing, reporting back here what I find.

Just to update you, I found a larger card to test with. Turns out it was defective (heated to extreme temps in the card reader). Gonna get another.
