I recently purchased 5 Einsteins, I'm in Dubai on 220V power, and each and every one of my power cords is loose and sounds like it is shorting if any movement affects the connection.

Is this normal?
If so, is this not something to be worried about?
Is there a solution to this problem?

My Einsteins came with loose power cords too.
I had to replace them because they kept coming off, especially when hand-holding lights with a vagabond-mini belt. Any other power cord I had laying around was a much snugger fit.

Frustrating. Thanks for sharing your experience.

If I wiggle my cord, it makes a electric sound, like static electricity when you get a blanket from the dryer. It does take effort to remove it though, so Im not worried about it.

Are these Schucko cords or the US type cords?

Not sure what you mean by Schucko, but I purchased my equipment in the US, and shipped them to Dubai. Sounds like they are the US cords?

Schucko is the style of plug that is used frequently on 240V mains outlets. But if you are using the cords that came with the units, which came direct from us, that tells me what I need to know.
