I brought a Vagabond mini from your company in late Jan (serial number: V23001878). I was using it with a Elinchrom RX600 studio strobe this afternoon, and it popped 2 flashes then it stopped working. After some examination, what I am finding is the followings: 1. the vagabond is still "on" in general. The LEDs are all lighted up (yes, because the battery is fully charged. 2. The power switch of the RX600 is dimly lighted when I flip it to "on". 3. I tried plugging a small electrical appliance into the vagabond, my camera battery charger. It worked. And the battery in it seems charging. 4. With nothing plugged into the powered on Vagabond, the inverter is getting hot within 5 mins. Particularly near the letter "V" on the silver label on the inverter. The fan would turn on in around 10mins. I am now in Hong Kong. If the Vagabond need to be fixed, I can send it back to the state. Please let me know. Cheer, |

It does sound like the unit will need to come in for warranty service. If you purchased through the US site, it will need to come back to us, however, you should contact the repair department regarding shipping arrangements prior to sending it in. |

Are both the Vagabond and the RX600 and the same voltage . . . IE 120V or 230V? |

They are both 230V. :) And it has been working for the last few times I tested it. Though never using it during a job. When I use it in a job, it failed.... |
