The reason I'm using PW is because I'm already using my PW MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 to shoot my 580ex's.

I wanted to complete my radio controllers so I purchased the PW Plus II's to trigger my Alien Bee flashes. The Plus II's didn't come with a flash sync cable/cord.

Which cable would i need from the flash to the Plus II? and where is the best place to purchase one?

I guess it's either this:

Or a MiniPhone to Miniphone cord?

Thank you!

Go with the mono cords, they are typically less expensive even after shipping, and provide a far better connection. We carry them for about $6 plus shipping.

Can you point out which sync cords I need?

Is it the CSSC - CSR/CSRB Sync Cord ?

Just to verify, with the proper cables, I will be able to trigger my Zeus 2500 and my AB B400 with my Pocket Wizards?

As an FYI since I haven't seen anyone else confirm this yet, the RP JrX syncs fine w/ the Einstein. I put it behind walls, etc. across my apartment and it had no issues w/ the Einstein. It's just a PW "feature". Hopefully, some metal gaskets inside the Einstein will seal off the RF radiation (unless it's coming off the LCD in which case I have no idea how to muffle it)-:

From my FM post at http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/ ... astmessage:

Same problem as Canon 580EXII. We're working on it, no indication Canon is. It's mostly a PW problem. Their RF design is 18 years old and doesn't have the rejection of more current technology as in Skyport. Cyber Sync, Air, RP and others. Until we can do a fix, the solution is a longer sync cord and some distance between Einstein and PW receiver.

Regarding "industry standard accessories" does a small company like ours have more responsibility in this regard than a company like Apple? Apple WIFI won't work with a 2.4GHz phone in the same house. CyberSync and Skyport are on the same 2.4GHz band and play nice with these phones. Is it Apple's fault or the phone industry, or the FCC, our ours or PW's?

I'm happy to report that with close to 500 Einsteins now in the field we haven't had a single field failure reported.

Hello there... I know this an old thread but I didn't want to be redundant with my question so I am continuing this one:)

I just want to make sure that there is no other piece of equipment needed to make my PocketWizard Plus II units work with my AB 800 other than the CSSC-CSR cable? I am going to add either another 800, or the einstein. So I guess part 2 would be... if I got the Einstein, could I use the Pocketwizards with it now until I can upgrade to the wireless units you offer?

Thank you so much.
