Post subject:  Poor Customer service from Australian dispatch

Hello,

My story begins on new years day with an order to PCB for an einstein, vagabond mini, beauty dish, baby boomer arm.

Looking forward to a summer of shooting my order partially arrives on the 10th of January (Enistein and boom arm.)
Several emails to PCB aust, the assure me the order arrived on the 10/01/12, but I did not have the rest of the order, it took lots of emails for Colin to do some tracking, the rest of the order finally arrived on the 17th of Jan (not too bad, I can live with this.)

However this is where my pain begins, my beauty dish arrived with a big dent in it, true to PCB customer service, they say just return it and we will send you out another one.

Cut to today ( 13th of april 2012) I still do not have my beauty dish, all I have is a naked mono block that I can't really use, and lots of false promises from PCB Australia that they will rush out my order.

4 Months to deliver a beauty dish. c'mon PCB speak to your distributor for me as I have now missed an entire summer of shooting with this light and dish

While I understand your frustrations, concerns which are not technical in nature should be directed to our customer service department. Presumably you are not in the U.S., so the best method to contact us is via email at info@paulcbuff.com. I will forward your concerns, however, I do not have access to your email address, therefore I cannot assume our customer service team will be able to initiate contact with you. So, I would encourage you to also contact them at the address provided.

Yours may be an unfortunate one-off experience. Through a succession of purchases of Einsteins, Vagabond Mini Lithium, modifiers, stands, PLM's, Cyber-Sync & Cyber Commander from PCB Australia I cannot fault the service. Phone calls that are not taken straight away are returned promptly.

There were a couple of issues with the very early Einsteins and my units were replaced immediately and without question. I find both Colin & Julie's emails and phone calls courteous, well informed and keen to maintain & grow good customer relations.
