Hi all,

I received this unit in December 2011, and used it once or twice as described in the manual, without issue.

It has been at least 2 months since I used the unit, and I have charged it fully. The led on the ac adapter begins orange (or red?) and then turns green, which I believe to indicate charging has completed.

When I turn the unit on however, no indicator lights, and no power. I have checked connections between battery and pack and I believe them to be tight and in good order. I have re-charged battery on it's own with the ac adapter and again, goes from red to green in normal time. Same result, no power from the pack to any devices.

Little help? Hoping it doesn't need service..

Best,

Mark

I would try replacing the fuse.

Checked fuse and looks perfect. I'm an auto buff, so I know what these fuses should look like.

Is anything plugged into the AC outlets when doing this test? If so, unplug those and see if the lights come on.

With the battery removed, plug the charger into the inverter, where the battery would connect. With nothing plugged into the AC outlets on the front of the inverter, turn the inverter on and see if there are any lights.

Also try plugging in the battery directly to the inverter to see if there is any change.

I tried testing with both scenarios; things plugged into the outlets and nothing. Same result.

I removed battery just now, plugged charger into inverter where the battery would normally connect. I then powered on the inverter and got an immediate orange status light which quickly turned green within 1 second. Then in the next few seconds, the battery charge indicator lights came on one at a time, with it now sitting at 3/4+. There is nothing in the outlets at this time.

This means the inverter and charger work, leaving the battery as the suspect. This will require warranty service, and I would recommend contacting Customer Service to make those arrangements.
